Admission in BCA Course

Can you tell me the process of admission in BCA Course in India as my Brother wants to take admission in it?

Bachelor in Computer Application course is similar to the other Under Graduate Programs. It requires a minimum of three years with six semesters to get the degree.

Eligibility for BCA

12th passed with 50% marks or other equivalent qualification from accepted board.
You have must have Maths/Statistics/Business Mathematics/Physics in class 12th.
As for the age criteria most of the colleges need the candidates to be at least 17 years old. The maximum age varies between 22 to 25 years.


Admission Requirements to join the BCA Course

To get admission in prestigious college one has to appear for an entrance examination in order to clear the final admission requirements.

There are some of the colleges as well as Universities of India that conduct a session of personal interview before finally admitting the candidates. However, it is only in certain colleges and Universities. In most of the colleges and Universities, the direct method of admission is adopted.
