Can you tell me about the process for admission in B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) course in India as I want to take admission in it?

An aspirant to take the B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) examination should be a graduate or have appeared in the final year of graduation. Some universities have also set minimum marks as 50% to be eligible for taking the exam.

B.Ed. is an undergraduate academic course known as Bachelor of Education for those who are interested in pursuing career in teaching and related fields. The B.Ed. degree course is mandatory for teaching in higher primary schools and high schools.

B.Ed. Eligibility
The minimum qualification required is Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) form a recognized board/university with at least 50% marks.

Students need to appear in an entrance test conducted by the various states and Independent educational bodies and universities

These exams are generally held in the month of June-July and consist of Objective type questions on the subject of English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Basic Arithmetic Teaching Potential and one local language in some states.
