The Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology SMIT invited application form for admission in various B.Tech programs in the Institute.

Manipal University had conducted the entrance exam April 15, whereas, the offline entrance exam for SMIT B.Tech 2018 admission was conducted on April 29, 2018.

Candidates who clear the JEE Main 2018 and the MU OET 2018 also eligible for admission under SMIT B.Tech programmes

Candidates will be awarded seats on the basis of the rank secured by them in the merit list.

SMIT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects

Optional subjects in 10+2 must include Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Practices OR

Candidates must have done diploma in any branch of engineering awarded by a State Board of Technical Education

Candidates belonging to general category must score at least 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying exam subjects that are mentioned in the ‘academic qualification section of this table

Candidates belonging to SC, ST OBC category must score at least 45% aggregate marks in the 10+2 level

Candidates with diploma need to have minimum 50% aggregate marks for General category candidates and minimum 45% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates
