Sorry to say you but this Maths Talent Search Scholarship Examination is not for 12th students. For Maths Talent Search Scholarship Examination 12th students are no eligible.

Dates for Maths Talent Search Examination will be announced in February first Week.

The Maths Talent Search Examination is a competitive examination conducted at various levels by the Indian Institute for Studies in Mathematics.

The focus of this exam is on mathematical reasoning, mental ability, novel approach, concepts, accuracy and speed.

Eligibility:
MTSE is an open exam. Any student studying in Class III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX under any educational board is eligible to appear for MTSE.

A student can appear only for the class in which he/she is studying during the academic year.

Examination fee:


H.S.S (+1, +2); H.S; U.P; L.P (Kerala syllabus) Rs.50.00.
H.SS; H.S; U.P; L.P (CBSE, ICSE) Rs.60.00.

2nd Rs. 2000
3rd Rs. 1500
4th Rs. 1250

6th to 10th Rs. 750 each
11th to 20th Rs. 400 each

81st to 110th Rs. 200 each

Last Date for Registration 31 Oct 2017 30 Nov 2017
Admit Card Available from 22 Jan 2018
Exam Date 28 Jan 2018
Result Date 11 Jun 2018

Exam Pattern:

The MTSE will be classroom (offline) test.
The paper will consist of 50 objective questions i.e. each question will have 4 alternatives. These questions will have to be answered in 90 minutes, on an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) Answer Sheet.
The correct answer will be awarded with 2 marks, whereas the wrong one will meet with a penalty of 0.5 marks, except for Class III and IV.
