Age Limit
Education Qualification

Inspector, Backward Classes Welfare

You must have a degree of a recognized University or its equivalent.

Must have the ability to read, write and speak Bengali (not required in case of Nepali speaking candidates from hill areas of the District of Darjeeling).

Not below 20 years and not more than 32 years as on the 1st January 2017

Minority Development Officer

Must have a Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. Should be acquainted with social customs and culture of the Minorities of West Bengal

You shall be at age not more than 32 years and not less than 18 years as on the 1st January 2017

Research Investigator

A Bachelor’s degree with Anthropology or Economics and Sociology, At least two years experience on Socio-economic investigation surveys and analysis of data in an Organization or Institute of repute

Not more than 32 years on the 1st day of January relaxable in case of candidate with exceptional qualification and experience in the relevant field.


Age Relaxation

Candidates For all posts upper age limit is relaxable for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal 5 years

For BC - A and BC - B candidates of West Bengal by 3 years

Persons with Disabilities (having physical disability of at least 40% and above), 37
Years for candidates who have been in Government service continuously for at least two years. 2 years
