Can you provide me the eligibility required for applying for PGET or Post Graduate Entrance Test for admission in West Bengal University of Technology or Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University?

The West Bengal University of Technology or Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology conducts the Post Graduate Entrance Test (WBUT PGET) for admission into the various M.Tech and M.Pharma courses such as VLSI Design & Embedded Technology, Embedded Technology, Electronics & Communication, Mobile Communication Engg, Electronics & Communication Engg, Telecommunication Engg, VLSI Technology and other various courses.

WBUT PGET Eligibility Criteria:
• One must have a relevant AICTE approve Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/Architecture
• One in Final year can also apply
• One who is Associate Members of a Professional of Engineers that is recognized by the Govt. of India for the purpose of admission to higher studies in Engineering is also eligible
• M.Sc. or final year M.Sc one in appropriate branches is also eligible.
• One with degrees through distance education programme are not eligible

WBUT PGET Exam Pattern:
• The duration of the exam 2 hours for a total of 100 marks

• There is a single paper with a total of 100 multiple choice objective type questions


• The question paper is in English only.

• The paper is comprise of the following:

General Section for 40 marks consisting of English, Aptitude in Logical/Reasoning power and Mathematics

Subject Section will be for 60 marks comprising of Engineering Sciences, Computational skills and 50 marks relevant to the PG course

• There is no negative marking system in the test.
