PGET entrance exam is being conducted by the West Bengal University of Technology for giving chance to the candidates according to the seats availability in the University.

Eligibility:
Applicants may have passed B.E/B.Tech in any disciplines
Applicants who have passed the equivalent exams such as specified can also apply
Applicants who have qualified in GATE exam must also have to apply and appear for the Entrance exam to get the admission.

Starting date for application submission:- July 2015
Last date for on-line application submission:- August 2015
Deadline for hard copy to reach WBUT by speed post or by hand:- August 2015
Admit Card Available From- August 2015
PGET Phase-II Exam. Date:- August 2015

Paper pattern:
The duration of the exam will be 2 hours for a total of 100 marks
There will be a single paper with a total of 100 multiple choice objective type questions
The question paper will be in English only.
The paper will comprise of the following:
General Section for 40 marks consisting of English, Aptitude in Logical/Reasoning power and Mathematics
Subject Section will be for 60 marks comprising of Engineering Sciences, Computational skills and 50 marks relevant to the PG course
There will be no negative marking system in the test.
