The Valparaiso University has a Police Department for provides security. The University department goal is that this assists students in finding information and understanding some of the services the great women and men of the Valparaiso University Police Department provide to the campus community.

The University are honoured to serve the campus community to keep it a safe and enjoyable learning community.

The department actively builds a positive relationship with the campus community, and it continuously prepares for all hazard emergencies, with a heavy concentration on active threats.
