I am planning to do my higher studies from the University of Texas at Dallas so please tell me the Average SAT Score required to get admission in it?

The University of Texas at Dallas is a public research university in the University of Texas System.

Candidates will be evaluated for admission as “first-time freshmen” if the students’ first enrolment at a college or university,

Assured Admission Criteria
Assured admission is for first-time freshmen who have completed the full Texas recommended college-track high school curriculum, and achieved a composite ACT score of 26 or greater, or an SAT score of at least 1200

Assured admission course completion requirements include:
English Language Arts (4 credits)
Mathematics (4 credits, including Algebra II)
Science (4 credits)
Social Sciences (3 credits)
Language (2 in a single language other than English)
Fine Arts (1 credit in music, art, or drama)

Reviewed Admission Criteria
All applicants who do not meet the assured admission criteria will enter the reviewed admission process.

Reviewed admission decisions are based on the applicant’s composite achievement profile, including:
High School Rank and GPA
Strength of high school curriculum (e.g. Honors, AP, IB, etc)
SAT-I or ACT scores
Record of accomplishments, honors, awards, community service, work, etc
Essay: Topic C (recommended essay topic on application).
Letters of Recommendation (suggested, but not required, and limited to a maximum of three).


English proficiency is required for all international student applicants from non-native English-speaking countries.

Minimum approved test scores and accepted testing agencies are listed below:
TOEFL iBT (Internet Based): 80

TOEFL (Paper Based): 550
IELTS: 6.5
PTE: 67
English 112 (provided by ELS Language Centers): Pass

Average SAT and ACT score
The average SAT score composite at UT Dallas is a 1853.
The 25th percentile SAT score is 1680, and the 75th percentile SAT score is 2030.
