Re: Use of PGECET
Don't apply for ordinary college. Try for Andhra University direct campus as follows. M Tech in Computer Science has the best job opportunities today. However competition is very high that most will not get a seat in Andhra University. But there is a solution. Andhra University offers M Tech Evening course. The certificate, syllabus, faculty and placements are exactly same as the regular course. There are vacancies right now available. First phase counseling was completed on 01.08.2015 and there are seats left. You will definitely get it. Try for it. Only thing is that it is for employed persons but many manage the work experience certificate. Getting an opportunity to do M Tech in Andhra University campus is a unique opportunity because it has excellent placements. Normally you need very top ranks in GATE or PGECET to get a seat in M Tech Computer Science in Andhra University. But M Tech Evening course has much better chances of admissions as number of applicants will be less. One more advantage is to do M Tech in Computer Science, you need not be B Tech in Computer Science. Any branch engineering student can do M Tech in Computer Science. Today, the jobs in areas of data analysis, big data, analytics, cloud computing, embedded systems, web development, etc. has a number of job openings. Getting M Tech in Computer Science will get you very good jobs especially as degree from Andhra University is valuable and also a lot of IT companies are coming up in Vizag and Andhra Pradesh. Definitely apply for second phase counseling which will come in a few days time. Mail me at sandeep.maddu@gmail.com if you have any queries.
