Aspirants’ Age should be below 28 yrs. Age Relaxation as per Government Rules & regulations.

Educational Qualification:

To apply for DRDO SET 2015 Exam, aspirants need to possess first class bachelor degree in technical fields like electronics / communication / mechanical engineering or computer science from any reputed University.

DRDO SET Exam Pattern:

DRDO Exam is divided into two sections:

Section 1: In this section 100 questions based on Objective Type are given from the subject as per syllabus of B.E / B.Tech / M.Sc.

Section 2: This section consists of 50 Aptitude questions from Logical Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning, Concept Formation, Abstract Reasoning, and Numerical Reasoning. Each consists of 10 questions.

Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO) works under Department of Defense Research and Development of Ministry of Defence. DRDO every year conducts a Scientist Entry Test (SET) on all India basis for the recruitment of scientists

Eligibility criteria :

Age Limit

18 to 28 years in case of STAT B (Senior Technician Group B) and Technician posts.
18 to 30 years for Assistant (Hindi) post.
• 18 to 27 years for Adminstration and other allied posts.

Educational Qualification:-

a) Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’(STA-’B'):

- B.Sc degree
- Three year engineering in diploma in Agricultural Science, Automobile Engineering, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics, Geology, Instrumentation, Library Science, Mathematics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Microbiology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Photography, Physics, Printing, Psychology, Radiography, Surveyor, Textile, Tool Die & Moulding, Veterinary Science Zoology from recognized university or institute.

b) Technician’A’ (Tech’A'):

- Class 10 (SSC) or equivalent.
- Certificate in ITI in Automobile, Book Binder, Carpenter, COPA, Cutting & Tailoring, Draughtsman (Mechanical), DTP Operator, Electrician, Electronics, Electroplating, Fitter, FRP Processor, Grinder, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Machinist (CNC Operator), Mechanic (Diesel), Medical Lab Technology, Mill Wright Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Painter, Photographer, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Sheet Metal Worker, Turner, Welder trade.
