The admit card are available at the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police from the 24/07/2014.
The UP Police SI Civil Police exam was held on 04/08/2014. This exam is organized in 5 Districts. These are as follows:
Lucknow,
Kanpur Nagar,
Bareilly,
Agra and Gorakhpur

Written Exam:
The Written Exam consists of Objective type Question. The paper will consist 200 Question. Paper I contain multiple Choice Question and Paper II contain Descriptive with Hindi essay.

Selection Process:
Written Exam will be of 400 Marks which contain Multiple Choice Question
There will be four written Test Examination
Descriptive of Hindi Essay in Written Exam
There will be Negative Marking

Vacancy details:
Sub Inspector (SI): 6400 Posts

Police Constable: 40000 Posts

Total Available Vacancies: 46400 Posts

Age Limit:
The Upper Age is different for Constable and Sub Inspector post.

The lower age of the candidate must be 18 years or more for both the posts.

Relaxation in Upper Age will be applicable to Reserved category candidates as per Government Rules.

Educational Qualification:

Applicants should have passed 10th Class (Matriculation)/10+2/Graduation from a recognized education board/university for Constable and Sub Inspector post.

Applicanst applying for police Constable or Sub Inspector post, must qualify in Physical Standards defined by UP Police Department for Height, Weight, Chest etc.
