Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts Combined Civil Services Examination-II (Non-Interview Posts) (Group-II A Services).

Eligibility Criteria for Personal Clerk in Finance Department:

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age:

“Others” [i.e Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs ] – 30 Years

Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, Backward Classes
(Muslims) and Destitute Widows of all castes – No Maximum Age limit

Education:
-Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Economics or Statistics
-Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting both by Higher Grade in Tamil and English
-Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Shorthand both by Higher Grade in Tamil and English
