Thiruvallauvar University is a public university in Vellore, Tamil Nadu established in 2002 and named after the Tamil poet and philosopher Thiruvalluvar. After bifurcation from the University of Madras, Thiruvallauvar University moved to a new campus at Serkadu, Vellore.
