Section Officer Audit Examination

I have applied for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Section Officer (Audit) Examination but I have no idea about its Exam Scheme. Would you please provide me syllabus for this Exam? The Staff Selection Commission SSC conducts SSC Section Officer Audit Exam for the recruitment for the posts of Section Officers (Audit) in the various offices under Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG).

SSC Section Officer Audit Exam Eligibility-

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.

Age Limit -

18-25 years but relaxable in case of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes, Departmental Candidates and few such other reserved categories of persons as specified by the commission.

SSC Section Officer Audit Exam pattern

The exam pattern for Section Officer (Audit) Examination is divided into two stages.

The first is the written test and the second is the interview.

The candidates who pass the written test are only called for the interview.

The written examination is of objective type and the questions from general awareness, English and numerical ability is included.

There will be 300 questions and the time allotted to answer these questions is 2 hours.

The candidate can choose English or Hindi medium

The candidates who clear the written test are called for interview and the total score of the interview is for 100 marks.

Those candidates who manage to pass in both the test and interview stages are placed as section officers based on the merit list.
