What is the qualification & age limit criteria needed to become CID officer, will you please provide here???

C.I.D stands for Criminal Investigation Department

The applicant may Join in CID through CGPE (Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam) which is Conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Board) every Year.

Qualification
The applicant must have completed Graduation in any stream from recognized college or university and

Final year students can also apply for the exam

There is no percentage criteria required

Age Limit:
Age limit criteria required differ from category to category:

For General Category:
20 years to 27 year
OBC Category:
20 years to 30 years
SC/ST category:
20 years to 32 years.

Selection procedure:
Selection is based on stages given below:

1. Written test
2. Physical TEST
3. Personal interview

Pay scale
Pay scale varies with ranks.
However one can get pay range between Rs.8000-24500.
