TNEA Random Number assignment is done by the Anna University.

Random Number for TNEA, or Anna University Counselling, is for the purpose of determining inter-se merit when candidates have same marks in common merit list, and same percentage of marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Fourth optional subject.

Candidate having Higher Random Number Assigned for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions will be given higher preference in TNEA / Anna University Counselling.

Candidates who have applied for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Can Check the Random Number after application form submission

Use Of Random Number :

This Random Number will be used only when there is a tie in marks, cut offs, date of birth etc., and this random number will come in handy very rarely and it has no relevance to the ranking of candidates.
