The University School of Open Learning, Panjab University was established in 1971. The objective was to take university based education beyond the four walls of the University. Distance Learning Education Courses of Punjab University Bachelor of Arts Duration-3 years Eligibility The +2 examination under 10 + 2 + 3 system of education of a recognised University/Board/ Council Bachelor of Commerce Duration 3 years Eligibility + 2 examination or B.Com Part I (Old Scheme) of Panjab University with three of the following subjects securing atleast 40 percent marks in the aggregate. Bachelor of Education Duration 2 years Seats 500 Eligibility i) Bachelor's degree of this University or any other recognized University with at least 50 per centmarks in the aggregate. BACHELOR OF LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SCIENCE Duration 1 years Eligibility (a) Bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent marks in the aggregate from this University or from anyother University the Bachelor's degree. CERTIFICATE COURSE IN VIVEKANANDA STUDIES Duration 1 years Eligibility Admission to the course shall be open to persons who have passed at least 10 +2 examination from a Board / University / Council recognised by higher examination. CERTIFICATE COURSE IN WOMEN STUDIES Duration 1 years Eligibility +2 examination from Board of School Education, Punjab / Haryana or Central Board of Secondary Education,Delhi. Master of Arts Duration 2 years Eligibility (i) B.A. with Honours in the subject of the Postgraduate Course; (ii) (a) Bachelor's degree in any faculty with atleast 50% marks in the aggregate. MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION Duration 2 years Eligibility (i) A Bachelor's or Master Degree in any discipline of Panjab University or a degree of any other University MASTER OF COMMERCE Duration 2 years Eligibility (a) B.Com./BBA with not less than 45 % marks in the aggregate; OR(b) B.Com.
