Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE) conducts the UP Polytechnic Examination or Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) for the admission in the various disciplines of Engineering

Tentative dates
Starting date of online registration of JEECUP application form would be likely to: First week of January 2015

Last date of online registration of JEECUP application form would be likely to: Third week of February 2015

Last date of payment of application fees via e-Challan form submission would be likely to: Second week of February 2015

UP Polytechnic 2015 (JEECUP 2015) examination date would be likely to: Second half of April 2015

Eligibility
Candidates must have qualified the 10th exam with at least 35% marks or B.Sc from any government recognized board or university.

The candidates who are resident of Uttar Pradesh would get the preference on 85% seats, rest 15% are the management seats.

Application Fees
Candidates will have to pay Rs. 400/- as the application fees. Candidates belonging to reserved categories have to pay only Rs. 250/-

The UP Polytechnic examination also well known as Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) as well as is one of the popular exam for the students who want to pursue polytechnic in various disciplines from the colleges located in Uttar Pradesh.

Important Dates – Announced
• Online registration begins: on 11th January 2016
• Last date of online registration: on 16th February 2016
• JEECUP admit card 2016 declaration date: on April 2016
• UP Polytechnic 2016 (JEECUP 2016) exam date: on 1st May, 2016
• UP polytechnic result: tentatively last week of May, 2016
• JEECUP counselling date: tentatively in June, 2016

Eligibility Criteria

The aspirants belonging to the UP are eligible to apply for 85% seats in various government and private colleges of UP.

The aspirants applying for the exam should have passed or appearing in class 10th, or 12th or equivalent are eligible to apply. The aspirants should have passed qualifying examination from any recognized board or university.

The aspirants should be having domicile of UP, in order to appear for the examination.
