you enter the UK on a student visa/entry clearance there are certain conditions that you must be aware of:

Work Restrictions : Degree level students are normally allowed to work 20 hours a week during term time and full-time during your vacation periods.
If your visa/entry clearance includes the words 'work and any changes must be authorised' then, according to the Immigration Rules, you are allowed to work as outlined above without seeking any further permission.

Responsibilities

provide the University with a copy of your passport and visa/biometric residence card (BRP)
keep your contact details in the UK up to date via the Student Portal
register for your course on time each academic year
study while you are in the UK (ensuring that you have good attendance on your course and no significant gaps or absences)
follow University processes if you decide that you would like to defer or suspend your studies or withdraw from your course
return home if you defer or suspend your studies, withdraw from your course or if your course is terminated
act within the immigration rules if you change Education Provider (to another provider). Most students in this situation will need to make a fresh visa application

Police Registration :
To register you will need:
your passport
two passport sized photographs
the payment receipt for £34 paid to Nottinghamshire Police via Barclays Bank
proof of your student status (student ID card or copy of CAS or offer letter, for example)
a completed questionnaire
