Pay Scale of IBPS Specialist Officer

Can you tell me about the pay scale one can expect for the post of Specialist Officer in IBPS or Institute of Banking Personnel Selection as I want to know it before taking applying for the post?

Basically, the IBPS Specialist Officer Pay package is different depending on the place of the posting or position for which they are recruited.

For example, Scale –I are IT Officers, HR Officers, Agricultural Field Officer, Law Officers, Marketing Officers, and so on.

Pay Scale of IBPS Specialist Officer

The pay structure for IBPS or Institute of Banking Personnel Selection SO is computed considering all the perks offered to them.

However, an SO under Scale I is provided — Rs 14,500 – 600/7 – 18,700 – 700/2 – 20,100 -800/7 – 25,700/-approximately.

So, the cash-in-hand will be around Rs. 24,000-32,000 nearly.

Those under IBPS or Institute of Banking Personnel Selection SO Scale II, the Basic pay given is Rs 19,400 700/1- 20,100 – 800/10 – 28,100/- approximately.

During appointment, salary will be Rs. 34,000-40,000 approximately. After completion of first year, an increment of Rs. 700 will be due on basic pay.

After that increment on basic pay is Rs. 800/- for next 10 years. However, it is possible to get revised pay depending on economy of country.
