ONGC Kishanganj District

Hi I want to know that is ONGC planning to have a refinery in the Kishanganj District and if yes then is there any movement done by the ONGC there ???

Well the ONGC scientists as well as engineers are thinking of a big reservoir of oil in the Kishanganj district.

Sample surveys done at two sites in Kochadhaman and Bahadurganj blocks have yielded positive results.

Even the sources said, adding ONGC engineers have drawn up a road map for drilling operation in early August at Narkali.

This under ground oil lake is so huge that it can serve india for more than 350 years as per the records of ONGC.

If everything will go accordingly than after july we will get petrol as RS.25/litre, Diesel as RS.12/ litre.

Almost 2 hundred workers are connected at the Narkali site and drilling machines and other equipment have sent to the spot to a report .

In upcoming years, ONGC is noticed to invest Rs. 200 crore in 2 projects of oil and gas exploration in Kishanganj district.

A press release of ONGC says that the Chief Minister of Bihar, Mr. Nitish Kumar had visited the ONGC drill site at Rasulganj on September 30, 2012 to show the starting of drilling activities
