The National Institute of Technology Goa (NITGoa) is a head specialized Institute of the area. NITGoa was set up in the year 2010 by a demonstration of parliament (NIT act 2007) and it is proclaimed as 'Organization of National Importance '. NIT Goa is an independent foundation and working under the aegis of Ministry of human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India.

NIT Goa Campus is situated at Farmagudi, Ponda, Goa. Farmagudi is situated on a level 3 km from the fundamental Ponda City in transit towards Panaji. Ponda is a city and a metropolitan board in North Goa region in the Indian condition of Goa. It is situated in the focal piece of Goa. Ponda city lies around 28 km south-east of Panaji and 17 km north-east of Margao and is additionally the capital of Ponda Taluka. Ponda is all around associated by street to the Panaji (Capital of Goa) and principle railroad intersection of Margao.

Air
