Department of Biotechnology, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal has published notification for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow vacancies for the project titled “Metagenome derived nitroreductases for degradation of nitro compounds” on temporary basis.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess First class in B.E/ B.Tech or Equivalent Degree in Biotechnology/ Industrial Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering (With GATE/NET qualification) or First class in ME/ M.Tech/ MS in Biotechnology/ Industrial Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering/ Computational Biology/ Biopharmaceutical Technology.

Desired Qualifications:
Prior knowledge/experience in Molecular cloning, Protein expression/Purification or Bioreactor operation

Emoluments:
Consolidated Rs. 25,000/- per month

Job Requirements:
Screening industrial enzymes through functional metagenomics, Molecular cloning, Protein purification, Preparation of research reports

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on interview.
