Hi, I wonder to do degree course in Design. How many NIDs in India? Give me list of all the NIDs with address Which UG and PG courses do they offer? What is its admission procedure?

The eligibility criteria for Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) is that those students who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2). Passed candidates shall be given admission to the academic programme, by the institute. And the medium of instruction of NID is English.
Age limit for candidates is 20 year as on June 1, 2012.

Courses offered for undergraduate:-
INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
COMMUNICATION DESIGN
APPAREL AND LIFESTYLE ACCESSORY DESIGN

For postgraduate: - Number of seats are 245. The eligibility is that candidate having bachelor degree. Age limit for candidates is 30 years, as on June 1, 2011.
PGDPD is 2 to 2½ year programme. The specialization in 17 design program under the five faculties.
