Here I am giving you information about required Height and Eyesight for national defense service examination organized by union public service commission. Physical qualification : The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (B) Eye Sight: For Army – To read in a distant vision chart with each eye, with or without glasses, Myopia: Not more than 2.5 D, Hypermetropia: Not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. For Navy – Distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6. Near vision N-5 each eye, Color vision CPI (MLT). Myopia: Not to exceed 0.75 D in either eye, Hypermetropia: Not more than 1.5 D (better eye) and 2.5 D (worse eye) For Army – Distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6. Near vision N-5 each eye, Myopia: Nil, Hypermetropia: +2 D Sph. Astigmatism +0.75 Color Vision CPI (MLT). Chest :: Chest should be well developed. Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms. 162.5 cms for Air Force F Your eyesight must be 6/6. Your height must be minimum 165 cm. Physically handicapped students are not allowed here. Special Requirements for Air Force Pilot Leg length 99.00cm – 120.00cm Thigh length Max 64.00cm Sitting height 81.50cm – 96.00cm NDA Exam Eligibility : For Navy and Indian Air Force: Candidates must pass in Class 12th with Science Discipline from any recognized Board. For Army: Candidates must pass in Class 12th from any recognized board with any discipline. Age limit 16 ½ to 19 Years Marital Status : unmarried |
