I have completed Masters in Biotechnology form Women's Christian College, Chennai and now want to do Ph.D. in Molecular Plant Pathology from Department of Biotechnology - University of Madras so please give me details? Is it possible to do Ph.D. while working?

The Madras University invites online application form for admission in PhD program.

Candidates can apply for admission upto 16-08-2018.

Go to the official website of Madras University

Then click on the link Continuation of Ph.D Registration (Extended upto 16-08-2018)

Then a new page will open

Click on Proceed

Again a new page will open





On this page enter email id and mobile no.

Then click on login

Then you will get the online application form of admission.

The registration fee is Rs.1000/-.

All the candidates who have registered Ph.D before April 2018 must Register the Continuation of Registration.

All the candidates who have failed to register for Continuation of Registration will be removed from Ph.D Registration.

Students should submit the hardcopy of Ph.D Continuation Registration along with online payment slip / DD, Attendance certificate(FULL TIME) and progress report to University

Last date for Submission of Ph.D. Registration Continuation is extended upto 16th August 2018
