Jadavpur University GIS Remote Sensing

I have heard from a friend that Jadavpur University is providing GIS and Remote Sensing course. Can you tell me admission procedure, course fee and eligibility?

The Jadavpur University has a School of Oceanographic Studies. The school was incepted in 1988. The School of Oceanographic Studies is situated in Kolkata and offers program in Remote Sensing and GIS. Here is the description:

The school offers 1 year P.G. Diploma on Remote Sensing and GIS”. In 2012, the program is going to start from August, 2012.

Eligibility:
To get admission in this program, you must have finished B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/M.Sc and B.A /M.A (Geography)

Course Fee:
Rs. 25000/- (for students) per semester, Rs. 30000/- (for sponsored candidates) per semester

How to apply:
Candidates have to apply in A4 size plain paper before 22.06.2012 with CV and Xerox of documents and marksheets.

The school also offers Remote Sensing and GIS by Distance mode through EDUSAT.

Selection procedure:
Selection in this program is based on the merit list and Admission test/Interview.
