Annamalai University was established back in the year of 1929 and is one of Asia's largest public residential universities located in Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, India. The university is spread across 1,500 acres (6.1 km2) acres in Chidambaram and offers courses of higher education in science, engineering, humanities, agriculture and arts. Axiology – Logic ethics and aesthetics – values – subjectivity and objectivity – kinds of values. Unit–II : Philosophical Traditions Fundamentals of Indian Philosophy and their bearing on education. Jainism – Jiva, Ajiva, Triratna. Buddhism – Law of karma, Four noble truths and Eight fold paths. Sankhya theory of three gunas.
