The Indian Institute of Chemical Technology is a national-level research center located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)

IICT conducts research in basic and applied chemistry, biochemistry, bioinformatics, chemical engineering and provides science and technology inputs to the industrial and economic development of the country

The Institute provide unique opportunities to young science and engineering graduates/postgraduates for research in the chemical, biological, engineering and allied disciplines leading to Ph.D Degree.

Degree Programs

Ph.D. (Science) : Chemical & Biological Sciences

Ph.D. (Engineering) : Chemical Engineering

They undertake the admissions in Ph.D. round the year for students having fellowship

Admissions are open round the year

M.Tech Programs

The admission is through selection process once in a year

Dissertation Training Programs

They can entertain only limited number of candidates and preference is being given to state/central institutes and universities

There is a possibility of joining of the few project fellows for Ph.D. programs however the joining as a project fellow does not guarantee for Ph.D. program seat
