Here is information about Ph.D Part Time Program:

Eligibility Criteria
Master's degree in any branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)
OR
M.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics or Operations Research with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)
Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering with an excellent academic record

Candidate having Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's degree in Science must have a valid GATE score to become eligible for Teaching/Research Assistantships provided by the Institute.

Written Test:
There will be a written test conducted by IIT Mumbai will be based on the topics related to operations research, such as: optimization, applied probability, stochastic processes, statistics and algorithms.

The Test will be designed to test candidate’s basic understanding and aptitude for research.
