Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi has announced a notification for the recruitment of 43 Junior Superintendent, Junior Assistant, Senior Stenographer, Stenographer, Junior Library Superintendent, Junior Library Assistant vacancies on regular & contract basis.

Eligible candidates may apply online from 12-09-2016 to 05-10-2016.

1. Ministerial: 30 Posts
a. Junior Superintendent: 12 Posts
b. Junior Assistant: 18 Posts

2. Secretarial: 05 Posts
a. Senior Stenographer: 02 Posts
b. Stenographer: 03 Posts

3. Library sector: 08 Posts
a. Junior Library Superintendent: 02 Posts
b. Junior Library Assistant: 06 Posts

Age Limit:
One’s upper age limit should be as on 05-10-2016:
40 years for Post 1a, 27 years for Post 1b
35 years for Post 2a, 3b
27 years for Post 2b
32 years for Post 3a
Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification:
One should possess:
Master’s Degree with knowledge of computer applications for Post 1a,
Bachelor’s Degree with knowledge of computer applications for post 1b, 2a, 2b, Graduation, Bachelor/ Master/ Diploma in Library Science for Post 3a,
Bachelor’s Degree & info Science/ Diploma in Lib& Inf for Post 3b with relevant experience.

Selection Process:
One is selected based on test/ interview.
