Detail about the B.Tech admission in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is as follows:

B.Tech Admission

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programmes in three branches which are:

(i) Aerospace Engineering
(ii) Avionics and
(iii) Physical sciences.

Students have to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi to qualify themselves to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) conducted by IITs and secure the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in JEE (Advanced) as given below:-

(a) General Students (GEN): Minimum 20% marks in aggregate and at least 5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics).

(b) Other Backward Community – Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) Students: Minimum 18% marks in aggregate and at least 4.5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics).

(c) Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST) & Persons with Disabilities(PD) Students: Minimum 10% marks in aggregate and at least 2.5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics).

In JEE-(Advanced), maximum mark for each subject is 120 and the aggregate is 360. Accordingly, the minimum (cut-off) marks for each subject and the aggregate, which should be secured for eligibility to apply for B.Tech admission in IIST is tabulated below:
