Job Description:

Position: Manager -Student Hostel & Mess - IIM Visakhapatnam

Closing date for Applications is : November 04, 2015.


Educational qualification and Experience:

Candidate should have Graduate Degree /Diploma (3 years full time course in Hotel Management & Catering Technology) from a Recognized University/Institute

Desirable: Candidate with a graduate degree in Hotel Management & Catering Technology.

Well versed in MS- Excel and MS- Word.

Should have Good knowledge of English, Hindi and Telugu.

Should have at least 5 years work experience in a 3 to 5 star hotel in the role of F & B Manager/Assistant Manager or Hostel Manager/any other equivalent position.



Age: Between 35-45 years .


Major Duties and Responsibilities:


• Ensure monitoring of housekeeping and security services.

• Attending to all complaints concerning service in the Hostel and Mess and keeping a record of the same .

• Student Hostel Management, deliver excellent student service, at all time, ensuring student’s comfort and safety.

• Supervision of optimal usage of water, electricity

• Maintenance of all records and registers connected with the receipt, issue, wastage, etc. in physical and computerized form.
