Re: IBSAT Paper Pattern
Ok, here I am telling you the paper pattern of the IBS Aptitude Test IBSAT Exam IBSAT Exam paper pattern- The duration of the test is 120 minutes (02 hours) Exam will contain 125 MCQs. ICFAI University has designed the test to challenge the candidate’s knowledge in aptitude and basic management. These 125 MCQs will be distributed (unequally) into 4 sections. The various IBSAT sections in the question paper are : Sections Total Questions Verbal Ability 50 Reading Comprehension 25 Quantitative Aptitude 25 Data Sufficiency & Data Interpretation 25 Total 125 Verbal Ability: This section will be a lengthy and time-consuming section. Here, the candidates are required to have a good command over the vocabulary. The Verbal Ability section basically tests the candidate’s skills and knowledge regarding the English language. The questions will basically be Fill in the Blanks, Correction of Sentences, Antonyms, Synonyms, Para Jumbles, Completion of sentences, etc. Reading Comprehension: One of the easy sections, if compared to the other sections. Here the candidates do have the chance to score the most. In this section, there will be passages and questions will be based on them. To prepare for this section, the candidates can practice the mock tests and sample papers. Quantitative Aptitude: As the name suggest, this section is specially designed to challenge the candidate’s quantitative skills. A good grip on Mathematics and fast calculation skills are the best recipe for this section. The questions in this section will be asked from Geometry Mathematics, Arithmetic and Geometry. Hint: The questions will be based on formulae, concepts and direct applications, etc. Data Sufficiency & Data Interpretation: Quick calculations, percentage conversion into fractions, shortcuts in other calculative methods such as square & cube roots are the base for the questions in this section. If the candidates get an upper hand on these topics, then acing this section will be easy. The questions in this section will be based on Pie chart, Tables, Data Sufficiency & Bar / Line graphs. |
