Following is a list of practical tips for writing GRE Analytical Writing exam.

These tips apply to both GRE Analytical Writing tasks:

Don't be in a rush to start typing.
Support each of your major points.
"Bookend" each essay if you have time
Don't get hung up on writing mechanics
Write in an appropriate voice and style
Don't try to impress the readers with your vocabulary
Reserve time for minor revisions and corrections
Do not apologize for your essay.
