Sir I want to do Diploma in Mechanical Eng course from Indira Gandhi National Open University but I have no idea about the Eligibility for the course so please can you give me the eligibility for the course and tell me the page where I can get the eligibility?

The IGNOU provides Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from School of Engineering & Technology (SOET). Here is the eligibility needed for the program:

For this program, candidates must have cleared 10th with 55% or 10th pass with ITI certificate or with Certificate in Motorcycle Service and Repair (CMSR) of IGNOU or must have cleared 12th with Maths, Physics and Chemistry and candidates should be employee of Central or State-level manufacturing industries/public or private manufacturing industries.

Eligibility for Diploma in Mechanical Eng in IGNOU

1.

a) 10th pass with 55 per cent marks; or

b) 10th pass with ITI certificate; or

c) 10th pass with Certificate in Motorcycle Service and Repair (CMSR) of IGNOU;
d) or

e) 12th pass with Maths, Physics and Chemistry

2.

Applicants should be employed in Central or State-level manufacturing industries
or in public or private manufacturing industries or in other related organisations
employing similar manpower or self-employed in equivalent capacity.
