BITSAT is a Computer based online test for Admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

Offered course by BITSAT:

Integrated First Degree Programmes to which admissions will be made on the basis of BITSAT-

At BITS, Pilani – Pilani Campus:
B.E.: Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing

B.Pharm.;
M.Sc.: Biological Sciences, Chemistry , Economics , Mathematics , Physics and

M.Sc.: General Studies

at BITS, Pilani – K. K. Birla Goa Campus:
B.E.: Chemical, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical

M.Sc.: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics

at BITS, Pilani –Hyderabad Campus:
B.E.: Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical
and Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing.
B.Pharm.;
M.Sc.: Biological Sciences, Chemistry; Economics, Mathematics, Physics

Eligibility:

For admission to any of the First Degree programmes of BITS except B.Pharm.: Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.

For admission to B.Pharm.:
Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and adequate proficiency in English. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program.

Paper pattern:

BITSAT is an online test solely based on computers for admission to all the integrated first degree programmes of BITS, Pilani at Pilani Campus, Goa Campus and Hyderabad Campus.

Birla Institute of Technology & Science i.e.. BITS Pilani organised the BITSAT.

There will be total 150 questions.
The number of questions in each part is mentioned below-

Part I Physics Questions 40

Part II Chemistry Questions 40

Part III (a) English Proficiency Questions 15

Part III (b) Logical Reasoning Questions 10

Part IV Mathematics Questions 45

All the questions will be multiple choice i.e.. MCQs with four options, among them only one is correct.
Every correct answer will award you 3 marks, while every incorrect answer wills deduct-1 mark.
It must be noted that No marks will be given for those questions which not attempted.
