To become lecturer in good colleges you have to passed National eligibility test examination or state level eligibility test . Eligibility for UGC-NET You have to passed a Master degree or equivalent in related subjects such as in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. from a well recognized university You have to passed a minimum of 55% (54.99% is not eligible) in this. - The candidates appearing or have appeared for final year exams are also eligible. -For appearing students they must produce their degree certificate within one year from the date of this test, otherwise they will be disqualified. Age limit : -The candidates appearing only for lectureship have no upper age limit. As you want I am here providing you the eligibility for Become College Lecturer. Qualification : Candidate should have a master's degree in relavent subject with minimum55% marks . For Become College Lecturer candidate have to clear NET/SET exam . Nationality : Indian Age limit: for JRF is 28 years. Relaxation as : 3 years for OBC. for SC/ST is relaxed by 5 years. Lecturer is a rank given to an educationist who teaches students of senior secondary and above in the higher educational institutions in India. Eligibility to Become College Lecturer To be eligible to be a lecturer one need to have minimum Master Degree in any of the relevant subject with at least 55% marks in it. Higher qualifications are always preferred. Process to Become College Lecturer Candidate need to clear CBSE - NET exam which is held twice a year by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). After clearing UGC-NET exam one is eligible for applying as a lecturer in any collage affiliated with any of the university recognized by UGC in India. But clearing of UGC-NET does not guarantee job. One has to individually apply against the post advertised by various colleges from time to time in the mass media. College authorities appoint a lecture by their own means. Colleges take a written test followed by an interview to select the deserving candidate or a walk in interview may be the criterion for the selection. Lecturer Career Prospects There are many career prospects for them after its completion- Lecturer Reader Assistant Professor Professor Head of the department Lecturer Salary Lecturer can expect as many as Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month to start with and go up to Rs. 50,000 with experience and promotions. Apart from joining a private or Government College or Senior Secondary School with considerably good salaries one can also go for private tuitions centre and can earn some extra money along with regular job of a lecturer. |
