DUMET Application Form Details

DUMET is conducted by University of Delhi for admission in Medical Under-Graduate Courses, i.e. M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. in the following Medical colleges:
MAMC - Maulana Azad Medical College.
UCMS - University College of Medical Sciences.
LHMC - Lady Hardinge Medical College. Only female candidates are admitted to LHMC.

The University conducts B.D.S. course in the below mentioned College:
MAIDS - Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification
Applicants must have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized school conducting regular classes and situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Applicants must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for Applicants belonging to SC/ST category and 45% marks in case of OBC category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Applicants must have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a recognized school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Age Limits

Applicants should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which the Test will be conducted.

Applicants completing the age of 17 years on 1st January or later will not be eligible for admission.

Application Procedure
The application form along with Bulletin of Information is obtainable from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007, against a Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi in the following manner:

By Hand - It available on all working days from 3rdWeek of January to 1st week of March.
BOI is not available in cash payment.
Application Form Fee :
Gen / OBC : 750/-
SC / ST : 550/-
PwD : Nil

By Post - It costs Rs.800 for general and OBC category candidates and Rs.600 for SC/ST/PH category candidates, along with a self addressed envelop of 12” x 10” up to Mid February.

Application form can also be downloaded from – website and submit the same, duly filled in and complete in all respects with requisite demand draft to the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of medical sciences, 6th floor, V.P. chest institute building, university of Delhi, Delhi on or before 2nd Week of March, up to 03.00 p.m.

The application form along with bulletin of information can also be obtained, by hand only, from Lady Hardinge medical college, Maulana Azad medical college and university college of medical sciences.
