Delhi Common Entrance Test is conducted by Delhi Knowledge Development Foundation under The Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi to provide admission to:

-Full-time Diploma programmes (Engineering and non-Engineering) being offered at Institutes affiliated to the Board of Technical Education (BTE), Delhi and

-One year various certificate courses in World Class Skill Centre (In Collaboration with Govt. Of Singapore)


Examination Paper Pattern of this Exam is:

Delhi CET consists of 150 (210 for pharmacy) objective multiple choice type of questions from the relevant subjects/topic as given below:

Test-1 For all 10th based Diploma Courses. Engg./Non Engg.

-Mathematics-(50 Questions)

-Physics (40 Questions)

-Chemistry (30 Questions)

-Biology (15 Questions) &

-English (15 Questions)


Test-2 For

(a) Modern Office Practice English (12th based) and

(b) One year certificate courses in Hospitality Operations, Retail Services and Finance Executive (12th Based)

-Comprehension of English including Grammar (60 Questions) of class XII level,

-Knowledge of Current Affairs (45 Questions) and

-Logical & Analytical Ability (45 Questions)

Test-3

For Modern Office Practice - Hindi (12th based)

-Comprehension of Hindi including Grammar (60 Questions) of class XII level

-Knowledge of Current Affairs (45 Questions) and

-Logical & Analytical Ability (45 Questions)

Test-4

(a) Pharmacy (12th based)

(b) One year Certificate course in Software Testing Assistant (12th Based)
-Physics (45 Questions),
-Chemistry (45 Questions) &
-Either Mathematics (60 Questions) or Biology (60 Questions)

Test-5

Lateral entry of ITI/ 10+2(Vocational Stream) pass outs for admission to the 3rd semester in analogous Diploma courses.
