Indore: the last date for registering for UGC NET 2012 was 18th November, 2012. Large number of students went to MP Online Kiosk and internet cafes to register online for UGC NET 2012. Due to the overcrowding of networks, many students could not submit their online applications for UGC NET 2012 on the last date.
The commission extended the time to submit the UGC NET 2012 applications till midnight of 18th November, 2012 keeping in view the difficulties faced by student. Actual last date for submitting the applications was 16th November, 2012. Excess crowding in network was because large number of students tried to register in the last dates of online registration.
Students were seen commenting that they face problems to register online applications before the deadline. Some faced technical problems while filling the UGC NET 2012 online applications. Many students could not fill their applications from home and they had to approach either the MP online kiosks or cyber cafes. There was help available at MP online kiosks for students to fill the UGC NET online applications.
Now, the students have to submit the necessary documents at the varsities for UGC NET 2012 that is scheduled to be conducted on 30th December, 2012. Last date for submitting necessary documents, hard copy of application submitted online and the attendance slip is 22nd November, 2012. These have to be submitted to the principal/registrar of NET coordinating university or college.
According to UGC NET 2012 notification, the students need to send the copy of Bank challan, educational certificate copies, research experience copies if age relaxation is applicable and SC/ST/PWD/OBC certificates if applicable. These documents have to be attested by a Gazetted officer. These should accompany the printout of application form and the attendance slip downloaded from the website. the list of coordinating universities or colleges can be obtained from the official website of UGC. Applications should be addressed to the respecting coordinating university and these should reach them on or before 22nd November, 2012. In no circumstances, applications received after the due date will be accepted. No admission card will be issued by the coordinating university or college. The details of venue of exam and seating arrangement shall be obtained by the candidates from the websites of NET coordinating university of college. These have to be noted in the printout of admission card. Students are advised to note down these details at least ten days before the exam.
