Does the Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations (CEE) conduct admission in LLB 5 year and 3 year course in Kerala? Provide me detail about the admission in LLB 5 year and 3 year course in Kerala through Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations (CEE)?

Applications are invited for the Computer based Entrance Examination for Admission to Integrated Five Year LL.B Course 2020-21 in 4 Government Law Colleges in Kerala and Private Self-financing Law Colleges in Kerala which enter into seat sharing agreement with the State Government. The Computer Based Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram and Kannur on 26.04.2020 (Sunday). Eligibility for Admission: (i) Nativity: One should be an Indian Citizen. However, only one who is of Kerala origin is eligible for any type of reservation or any type of fee concession. (ii) Academic Qualifications: (a) One should have passed the Higher Secondary Exam of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or any other exam recognised by the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto. (b) One who has passed an exam in 10+2 Course of schooling recognised by the educational authority of the Central or State Government or possesses such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to such 10+2 course by the Bar Council of India can also apply for admission to the course. One who has obtained +2 Higher Secondary pass certificate or first degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission. One who has obtained 10 +2 or graduation/post graduation through open school system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission. (c) One who is appearing/ appeared for the qualifying exam is also eligible to apply for the Entrance Exam. Such candidates become eligible for admission only if one produces the Pass Certificate and Mark List of the qualifying exam at the time of admission. (d) No one is admitted to the Course, unless one has passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 45% marks. However, one belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes need only 42% marks and those belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes need only 40% marks in the qualifying exam. No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted. (iii) Age: One should have completed 17 years of age as on 31.12.2020. (iv) Qualifying Standards in the Entrance Examination: To qualify in the Entrance Examination, and thereby figure in the rank list, a General/SEBC category applicant should secure a minimum of 10% of the total marks in the Entrance Exam whereas one belonging to SC/ST category should get a minimum of 5% of the total marks. |
