CAT known as Common Admission Test. It is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs to provide admission to the candidates into Post Graduate level Management Degree/Diploma programs at National level. Course Eligibility: Candidate must have for: • PGP (Post Graduate Program in Management) - Bachelors Degree, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. • PGP-ABM (Post Graduate Program in Agri-Business Management in IIM Ahmadabad) - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Agriculture Sciences or in Agriculture-related disciplines, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Or • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. • PGSEM (PGP in Software Enterprise Management) - Bachelors degree from a recognized university along with a minimum of two years of work in the software industry. • PGPPM (Post Graduate Program in Public Policy and Management) – (i) Eligible Government Officials, (ii)Civil society functionaries,(iii) mid career executives belonging to PSUs and Corporate Undertakings and (iv)Individuals with minimum 7 years of professional experience. • PGDCM (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Aided Management) - Bachelors Degree, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. • Ex-PGP (Post Graduate Program in Management for Executives) - Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA with minimum of 5 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience obtained only after graduation. • PGP-ABM (PGP in Agri-Business Management in IIM Lucknow) - Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Science / Agricultural Engineering or allied subjects with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any of the recognized Universities. Or • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. CAT Exam Syllabus: There is no individually syllabus for the CAT exam. It is planned to review the normal skill of a person towards their preferred field. Question will be asked from these areas: • Quantitative Aptitude • Reading Comprehension & Verbal Ability and • Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. Application Form: If you want to fill CAT exam form, you should log on to official website of Indian Institutes of Management. Form can only fill by online. |

Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted on National level by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admission of candidates in top B-schools of India IIM's providing Post Graduate Programmes in Management are: 1. IIM Ahmedabad PGP and PGP-ABM 2. IIM Bangalore PGP, PGSEM and PGPPM 3. IIM Calcutta PGP-PGDM and PGP-PGDMC 4. IIM Indore PGP and EPGP 5. IIM Kanshipur PGP 6. IIM Kozhikode PGP 7. IIM Lucknow PGP and PGP-ABM 8. IIM Raipur PGP 9. IIM Ranchi PGDM and PGDHRM 10. IIM Rohtak PGP 11. RGIIM Shillong PGP 12. IIM Tiruchirapalli PGP 13. IIM Udaipur PGP Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks. In case of the SC and ST, a minimum of 45% mark is sufficient. CAT Exam Syllabus: Quantitative Aptitude Reading Comprehension & Verbal Ability Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency Exam Pattern: CAT will have only two sections: First section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation Second on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning Duration: 170 minutes. CAT Exam Dates: CAT is normally held in the month of November. CAT Exam Application form Fee: Application form and the bulletin can be obtained on payment of Rs.1600 (Rs.800 for SC/ST candidates). |
