Ones application for admission in Undergraduate and Foundation Course in Bath Spa University needs to include: Bath Spa Universitys UCAS institution code: BASPA B20; The course one is applying for; A Personal Statement; Ones predicted grades and / or highest qualification achieved so far; An academic or professional reference Personal Statement University want to hear why one is applying, ones ambitions, what makes one suitable for the course and any relevant skills and experience one can bring to ones studies. A strong personal statement should include: Evidence that one has researched the course content including information about ones specific interest areas within the subject/s; How one chosen studies support ones long-term goals; Any transferable skills one can bring to ones studies; Examples of any relevant work-experience and/or extra-curricular activities; If appropriate, how ones current qualifications will help one to be successful in ones chosen studies; Supporting evidence to back up ones statements. Academic or Personal Reference Ones referee should preferably be someone who knows one academically. If one is applying from a school of college, a teacher or tutor will be able to write one a reference. If not, one should ask ones employer or a school/college one recently attended. Include ones referees contact details, so that UCAS can contact them. One must not use friends, family or a partner as ones referee, as this may result in ones application being cancelled. Ones referee needs to provide predicted grades for any qualifications which one hasnt completed. |
