Sorry to say that being B.Tech ECE student you are not eligible for IES Exam . I.E.S exam is taken by U.P.S.C once in a year. For I.E.S the candidate must pass engineering with any one stream mention below:- • Electronics Engineering • Civil Engineering • Mechanical Engineering • Electrical Engineering Age should be in between 21-30 year. For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-33 year. Exam Pattern IES exam consist of two parts i.e. written test of 1000 marks and interview of 200 marks. 600 marks are allotted to objective type questions 400 marks are alloted to conventional test. This exam consists of three phases; first phase is allocated to General Ability paper that includes General English and General Studies, each of 200 marks each. Next, there will be two objective technical papers, followed by two conventional technical papers. For each wrong answer, 1/3rd of the total mark allotted to the question will be deducted.
