Bsc biotech is for biology applicants deals more with living organisms and also with technical knowledge and have very good scope in biological sector while btech biotech is a kind of subject for engineering applicants it is as same is biomedical engineering and has scope in engineering sector.

Companies always prefer applicants from B.Tech than B.Sc in any field.

Duration of B.Tech(4 years) is more than the B.Sc(3 years).

According to me both courses are have he courses which have almost similar and there will be not much difference in the job preferences and future scope of the course. I suggest you to go with the B.tech Biotechnology course

B.Tech. Biotechnology or Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology is an undergraduate Biotechnology course. Biotechnology is a field of applied biology that involves the use of living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bio-products.

Eligibility criteria:

B.Tech. (Biotechnology) minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) with subjects such as physics, mathematics, biology and chemistry.
