AMUPMDC Syllabus

Hi I would like to have the syllabus for the AMUPMDC ASSO CET as I would like to appear for the exam & start the preparation for the same?

ASSO - CET passage test, one needs to concentrate on the same syllabus of Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2)/Pre-Medical/Intermediate science or its identical, perceived by Maharashtra State Board.


Physics
Units and dimensions, kinematics, gravitation, dynamics, collisions and center of mass, elasticity friction, rotator motion, elements of vectors, surface tension etc.

Chemistry
Atomic structure, classification of elements and periodicity in properties, thermodynamics, electro chemistry, chemical bonding and molecular structure, states of matter: gases, solid state, chemical kinetics etc.

Biology
Taxonomy of plants and animals, microbes in human welfare, ecosystem, cell structure, cell cycle, biotechnology and its applications, nervous system, chemical coordination, photosynthesis, plant growth hormones, environmental issues, molecular basis of inheritance etc.

AMUPMDC ASSO CET Exam Pattern

The question paper comprises of 200 multiple choice questions of 200 marks. Each question has four options and the aspirants have to choose correct answer from them.

In ASSO-CET entrance test, the question paper is segregated into three parts:
• Physics (50)
• Chemistry (50)
• Biology (100)
• All the questions should be answered by the candidates within three hours.
• For each correct answer, the candidate is awarded with one mark. No mark is deducted of the candidates for each wrong answer.
• All the instructions and questions in the entrance test are only in English medium.
