I would like to tell you that All India Pre-Medical test/ Pre-Dental Entrance Test has been replaced by NEET-UG and here I will let you know about this exam. Seat Reservation Seat reservation for different categories is given here: Category Seat Reserved SC (Schedule Caste) 15% ST (Schedule Tribe) 7.5% OBC Non Creamy Layer 27% Physically Handicapped (PH) 3% seats (on horizontal basis) Application fee Fee Without late fee For OBC/General Rs.1400/- For SC/ST/PH Rs.750/- Eligibility Age:- He/she has completed age of minimum 17 years at the time of admission Qualification:- The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Bio-technology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject. Exam pattern The duration of test would be 03 hours. The Entrance Test shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen provided by CBSE at examination centre only. Language of the Question Papers:- HINDI ENGLISH GUJARATI MARATHI ORIYA BENGALI ASSAMESE TELUGU TAMIL KANNADA Option of medium of Question Paper should be exercised while filling in the application form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later. Scoring and Marking Each item carries 4 marks. For each correct response the candidate will get 4 marks. For each incorrect response one mark will be deducted from the total score. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if no response is indicated for an item in the answer sheet. The candidates are advised not to attempt such item in answer sheet, if they are not sure of the correct response. More than one answer indicated in a question will be deemed as incorrect response and will be negatively marked. |
