Wild Life Institute Dehradun
The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) at Dehradun was constituted in 1982 to train government and non-government personnel and carry on research on conservation and management of wildlife resources. It was allowed autonomy in April 1986. Programs at Wildlife Institute of India are field grounded, combining biological, socio-economic and human aspects. Experiment projects keep the faculty acquainted with present area situations and emerging technologies.
